Practical and indicative training of students is an urgent requirement of the modern labor market. The Department of Economic Cybernetics pays considerable attention to issues of relationships with personnel customers. In particular, in the 3rd year of the OPP “Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics” students study the discipline “Introduction to software testing” (teacher – associate professor V.V. Yatsenko), the methodological support of which is provided by the QATestlab company.<\/p>

QATestLab is an outsourcing IT company that provides a full range of software testing services. Works in the independent testing market, performing product quality checks (from online stores to gaming platforms and banking systems) for customers from Europe, America, and Asia.<\/p>

In accordance with the Memorandum signed between the QA testlab company and Sumy State University, the Department of Economic Cybernetics received the right to use the materials of the “Software testing for Universities” educational course in the educational process and the right to access the software infrastructure supporting the educational process of the specified course on a free basis.<\/p>

Traditionally, during the first lecture of the discipline “Introduction to software testing”, a meeting of students with the head of the QATestLab Training Center – Kurmash Oksana Mykolaivna took place.<\/p>

Oksana Mykolaivna conducted a presentation of the QATestLab company, introduced the students to the “Software testing for Universities” training course, employment opportunities, scenarios of professional development of QA Intern, open vacancies for students and graduates.<\/p>

Particular attention was paid to the development of the modern IT market, the profession of a software developer and tester, interviewing for employment, the need to develop soft skills for a future specialist.<\/p>
