In order to familiarise the 4th year students of the educational programme &#8220;Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics&#8221; with the requirements for undergraduate practice, preparation, execution and defence of qualification work, the teachers of the Department of Economic Cybernetics held an online event &#8220;How to prepare and defend a bachelor&#8217;s thesis?&#8221; on 29 February.<\/p><p>During the event, the following issues will be discussed:<\/p><ol><li>Undergraduate practice: the procedure and reporting.<\/li><li>How to prepare a qualification work? Basic requirements for the preparation of a bachelor&#8217;s thesis.<\/li><li>Checking work for plagiarism &#8211; requirements and tips.<\/li><li>Tips for successful defence of qualification work &#8211; presentation of work, speech, the most common questions during the defence.<\/li><\/ol><p>During the online event, students received useful advice on preparing and writing a qualification work, on the successful defence of the results of their own research. We hope that the information received will help higher education students prepare a high-quality qualification work and present the results of their research. The requirements for writing and formatting a bachelor&#8217;s thesis can be found on the website of the Department of Economic
