\ud83d\udcc5 On April 3, 2025, teachers and students of the Department of Economic Cybernetics took part in the event \u2018Development of a solution for vegetation animation in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2\u2019, which took place as part of the international gaming conference GAMES GATHERING 2025 LVIV.<\/p>

\ud83c\udfa4 The speaker of the event was Maxim Maltsev, Tech Artist at GSC Game World. He shared his experience of developing vegetation animation in the cult game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, focusing on:<\/p>

\u2705 the use of geometry in 3D modelling;
\u2705 technical and organisational challenges in creating realistic flora;
\u2705 controlling a large number of assets to ensure development flexibility;
\u2705 scaling solutions for the game world, etc.<\/p>

\ud83d\udca1 The Department of Economic Cybernetics expresses its sincere gratitude to Oleksandr Khrutskyi, founder of GAMES GATHERING and member of the Expert Council of Employers of the OP \u2018Esports and Computer Games Development\u2019, for the opportunity for our students to join this event.<\/p>
