The publication covers\neight key topics that combine theory and practice in a comprehensive manner:\neach chapter contains theoretical material, practical tasks, and examples of\nmachine learning algorithms in Python. The textbook develops skills in working\nwith data, building, training, evaluating, and improving models aimed at\ndetecting threats and improving cyber defences in the financial sector. The\npublication has a distinct applied focus and is intended primarily for\nundergraduate students majoring in 051 &#8211; Economics, in particular, the Economic\nCybernetics and Business Analytics study programme.
