Within the framework of the discipline &#8220;Design and Development of Computer Games&#8221;, a meeting was held with a leading industry expert &#8211; Oleksandr Khrutsky, CEO of Games Gathering, organizer of one of the largest GameDev conferences in Ukraine.<\/p><p>The meeting was a logical continuation of the topics that students master while studying the course &#8220;Design and Development of Computer Games&#8221;. The webinar provided an opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with the real needs of the industry and better understand the modern challenges of game development, in particular:<\/p><ul><li>transformation of the stages of game creation in Ukrainian indie studios in recent years;<\/li><li>changes in requirements for game mechanics and scenarios under the influence of global industry trends;<\/li><li>use of game engines in the modern computer game market;<\/li><li>features of creating games in modern realities.<\/li><\/ul><p>Oleksandr Khrutsky also shared his vision of the development of the game development industry, drew attention to the role of artificial intelligence, the development of indie projects and key skills necessary to start a career in game development.<\/p><p>The Department of Economic Cybernetics is sincerely grateful to Oleksandr Khrutsky, a member of the expert council of employers in specialty 121 &#8220;Software Engineering&#8221;, for his professionalism, valuable knowledge and willingness to share experience with students!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 23, 2026, the educational process for higher education students of the OPP &#8220;E-Sports and Computer Game Development&#8221;, group KS-21, became even more practical.
