\ud83c\udfc6 On April 8, 2026, the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management held a conference and awards ceremony for winners of academic competitions and student research contests. This event brought together students\u2014who are already shaping the future of economic thought and innovation\u2014in both online and in-person formats.
\ud83c\udf93 The event began with opening remarks by Institute Director Oleksii Liulov, who highlighted the importance of developing student research. Oleksandr Kushnerov, Chair of the Student Scientific Association, spoke about the conference agenda and opportunities for academic growth. The event was moderated by Svitlana Tarasenko, Deputy Director for Research.
\ud83d\udca1 The conference featured presentations of student research, during which students from the Department of Economic Cybernetics also presented their work, including:
\u2022 Ruslan Shchebetun \u2013 1st place (field: \u201cEconomics and National Economy Management\u201d), a third-year student in the \u201cEconomic Cybernetics\u201d program;
\u2022 Kseniia Mohylna \u2013 1st place (field: \u201cEconomics\u201d), a first-year master\u2019s student in the \u201cEconomic Cybernetics\u201d program.
Our second-year students received a special round of applause and honorary diplomas for their top finishes in academic competitions. They proved that a solid foundation of knowledge is laid from the very first years of study:
\u2022 Maria Dudka \u2013 a second-year student in the Economics program;
\u2022 Oleksandra Borysenko \u2013 a second-year student in the Economics program;
\u2022 Anna Datsenko \u2013 a second-year student in the Economics program.
