On June 15-16, 2026, the Department of Economic Cybernetics held the defense of the qualification theses of the bachelors of the educational program “Economic Cybernetics” of specialty 121 “Software Engineering”.<\/p>

The presented works covered a wide range of technological solutions. Students presented their own game projects implemented on the Unity and Godot engines, including the Action-RPG “Eldrion: Sigil of Shadows”, survival strategies, agricultural simulators and economic arcades. In addition to game development, significant attention was paid to the development of security systems (cheat detectors), the creation of innovative simulators for tactical medicine, as well as the study of socially responsible behavior of players. The analytical block of works was dedicated to the current challenges of the industry: from the use of artificial intelligence to increase the efficiency of development companies to mathematical forecasting of prize funds of e-sports organizations using panel regression models.<\/p>

The examination commission consisting of: General Director and founder of Games Gathering Oleksandr KHRUTSKY (chairman of the commission), associate professors Kostyantyn HRYTSENKO and Vitaly KOIBICHUK, senior lecturer Serhiy MYNENKO, assistant professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics Alina EFIMENKO noted the practical significance and quality of the submitted qualification works.<\/p>

We congratulate the students on their successful defense and wish them successful releases, recognition in the gaming community and confident movement towards professional Olympus.
