On June 11, 2026, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted the final conference of the second round of the All-Ukrainian Competition for Student Research Papers in the field of “Economic Modeling.”
Based on the results of the competitive selection, Kseniia Mohylna, a student in the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Sumy State University, received a second-place diploma for her research paper titled “Identifying Factors Influencing the Implementation of Central Bank Digital Currency Projects Using Machine Learning Models.” Her research advisor is Vitaliia Koybichuk, Ph.D. in Economics and Head of the Department of Economic Cybernetics.
The competition brought together participants from 16 higher education institutions in Ukraine and was aimed at developing students’ research competencies, promoting modern methods of economic and mathematical modeling, and utilizing innovative digital technologies to solve pressing economic problems.
