About the center
The Department of Economic Cybernetics has started close cooperation with the Robocode Robotics Center. Robocode is an international network of schools that exists not only in many cities of Ukraine, but also in countries such as Belarus, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Moldova and Romania.
Every weekend, in specially equipped conditions at the Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University, classes are held where children aged 8 to 16 dive into the world of IT. Robocode teaches not only boys and girls who have aptitude for this field, but also children who have never dealt with IT and turn them into professionals who can write their own codes and create their own projects at the age of 15-16. Robocode students take part in international competitions and Olympiads and become future developers.
