The selection of candidates takes place in 3 stages:
1) online testing (logic, English, technical knowledge) and test tasks.
2) basic technical interview with the Training Center staff. 3) an in-depth technical interview with a future mentor.
Let us recall the conditions:
✅ This is a three-month internship program, after which successful graduates will receive an invitation to a developer position.
✅ It takes place in the format of official part-time employment – you can combine it with your studies.
✅ Suitable for senior students / graduates of specialized specialties or those who already have programming experience.
✅ The program provides an opportunity to thoroughly study modern approaches to software development and gain practical experience in real (or as close to real) projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
✅ The internship takes place remotely, so keep in mind that you will have to spend at least 4 hours a day during working hours.

Ctrl+Alt+Disinfo game jam

For 2025 in Global Game Jam in Ukraine has special plans. Firstly, it will be the tenth Global Game Jam in Ukraine. And secondly, the US Department of State announced the United with Ukraine Game Jam . The goal of this program is to create games that will increase players’ awareness and skepticism about propaganda and disinformation and promote the development of critical thinking.
The program includes a game jam called Ctrl+Alt+Disinfo . It will take place in three stages.
— two-day jam (January 2025)
During the week Global Game Jam’y (January 17-25, 2025) participants can either choose a special diversifier to register their game for participation in the project, or submit a separate concept paper to indicate their interest in further developing the game to foster critical thinking in players
— two-week jam (February 2025)
Ctrl+Alt+Disinfo game jam will have two weeks in February 2025 to develop games. The games should aim to teach media literacy and critical thinking skills in recognizing and analyzing propaganda and disinformation .
— two-month jam (March-April 2025)
semi-finalist teams will be selected in early March 2025. They will receive a $1,000 microgrant and will be able to continue development for the next two months.
8 finalist teams will be selected in May 2025. Team delegates will gather at a venue in Europe and present their projects.
The three teams with the best projects will receive grants of $200,000 each.
Grants will be paid in stages according to pre-determined stages of game readiness on the way to release.

Winter School “DES 2025” from Lviv University

DES is one of the largest IT schools in the country, which annually for the past five years has brought together the best industry specialists, experts, mentors and lecturers from leading IT companies to transfer knowledge and experience to hundreds of students and pupils from different parts of Ukraine. And, in fact, the main goal of this project is to increase young people’s interest in new IT innovations, to form a platform for studying theoretical foundations and mastering practical skills in the most popular areas of the IT industry.
Project « Data Engineering and Security » has long gained popularity among young people, as it provides an opportunity for in-depth and intensive two-week training in the theory and practice of modern information technologies. It is also important that over the five years of operation, DES has shown a bright growth in the number of participants and the range of topical topics, so in the sixth season it is preparing an even more rich program for students.
In 2025, the school will run from January 20 to February 2. Classes will be held online with the support of leading Ukrainian IT companies. Class schedule: 10:00–18:00 — lectures, theoretical classes, trainings, master classes, practical classes, work with projects .
