Animation contest for the All-Ukrainian campaign “Light a candle of memory”

We invite you to take part in the animation contest, timed to the All-Ukrainian campaign “Light a candle of memory”, which is held annually in memory of the victims of the Holodomor. The campaign is held annually not only in memory of the victims of the Holodomor, but also as a call to the current and future generations of Ukrainians not to forget the tragedies of our people of the past years and to do everything in our power so that these terrible pages in the history of the Ukrainian people will never be repeated.

The competition is held within the framework of the Week of non-formal education “The Art of Living Together”.

Contest rules:

Create an animated video that will draw attention to the Holodomor and will correspond to the theme of the “Light a candle of memory” campaign, using any editor (2d or 3d): Unreal Engine, Blender, Unity, Cinema 4D, Maya, Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects etc. You can use ready-made assets, but be sure to credit the sources of these assets. You must also provide up to 4 screenshots illustrating the key stages of creating your animation.

Videos must be between 10 and 60 seconds long with a minimum resolution of 1920×1080.

Publish the video on your own YouTube or Vimeo channel, or upload it to a file exchange and fill out the competition participant registration form by 13:00 on November 26, 2022 at the link: https://forms.gle/bocgphdhQuQFANyP9.

The presentation of the works and the determination of the winner will take place at 1:30 p.m. on the “Martian Teapot” YouTube channel.

The winner of the contest (for the best visualization of the theme of the promotion) will receive the HyperX Alloy Origins Core HX Blue Keyboard.

The competition is held with the support of the Department of Economic Cybernetics of the BiEM National Institute of Economics, the Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University and Sumy State University.
