On March 15, 2026, the assistant of the Department of Economic Cybernetics, Alina Yuriivna Yefimenko, together with the senior lecturer of the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Pavel Valerievich Hrytsenko, held a career orientation meeting with students of the 11th grades of the KU SSSH No. 7 named after M. Savchenko SMR, Sumy ZZSO No. 10 SMR, KU Sumy NVK No. 16 SMR, KU Sumy ZOSH No. 22 SMR, Sumy ZZSO No. 26 SMR, KU SSSH No. 17, KU Sumy ZOSH No. 20 of Sumy, KU Sumy ZOSH No. 4 SMR and the Mykolaiv Lyceum of the Mykolaiv Village Council of the Sumy District of the Sumy Region. The event brought together about 50 students.
During the meeting, university representatives spoke about the key opportunities for studying at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management (ISSBEM) of Sumy State University. In particular, the participants learned about:
✅ the institute’s leading positions in international rankings;
✅ opportunities to participate in academic mobility programs;
✅ the main specialties in which training is carried out at the institute;
✅ development of the startup movement at Sumy State University.
The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the specialty C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations”, in particular to the educational programs “Economic Cybernetics” and “Economics”. Future entrants learned about how the specialty C1 Economics and International Economic Relations and the educational program “Economic Cybernetics” open up prospects for studying modern economic models, using big data and mathematical methods for making business decisions..
