On 23 January 2026, the Second National Forum of Talented Youth took place. This event brought together more than 600 participants from all over Ukraine and became an important platform for recognising the achievements of young scientists. During the forum, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to the best representatives of the scientific community.
One of the awards was received by Oleksandr Serhiyovych Kushneryov, Doctor of Philosophy, senior lecturer at the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Sumy State University. According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 863/2025 ‘On awarding the President of Ukraine’s prizes for young scientists in 2025,’ Oleksandr Serhiiovych was recognised for his work ‘Creation of a multi-contour intellectual cyber defence system.’ This research is the result of fruitful cooperation between a team of scientists and specialists from state institutions aimed at strengthening the digital security of the state.
In total, only 23 President of Ukraine awards were presented in 2025, which were received by 50 young scientists, indicating the high level of competition and significance of the award.
The Department of Economic Cybernetics congratulates Oleksandr Serhiiovych on this high state award and wishes him new professional successes, scientific achievements and inspiration for the further development of domestic science.
