On June 28, 2024, the Future of Financial Services Cybersecurity Forum was held online. The event was organized by the team of the project “EU Practices for Protecting the Financial System from Cyber Threats” at Sumy State University.
As part of the event, students had the opportunity to communicate with experts in the field of financial services cybersecurity, reviewed the basic terms, regulatory framework and standards of information security management in Ukraine and the EU, and identified approaches and modules for ICT risk management and information security. In addition, the forum participants discussed practical cases of cybersecurity in financial institutions, including PrivatBank, FUIB, Oschadbank, Commerzbank AG, Danske Bank Group and Deutsche Bank.
The Forum has become an important platform for disseminating new ideas and facilitating dialogue with academia and financial institutions on cybersecurity in the financial sector caused by the use of digital technologies.
