On March 6 2026, Alina Yefimenko, assistant professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics, conducted an interactive game as part of the agent-based modeling course. Fifteen tenth-grade students from Sumy Secondary School No. 27 and Sumy City Council Secondary School No. 2 participated in the event.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of agent-based modeling—a modern approach to analyzing economic processes and market participant behavior. 📈
🔍 In the format of an interactive game, the students:
- learned what agent-based modeling is and how it is applied in economics;
- analyzed typical scenarios of seller and buyer behavior in the market;
- worked with real business cases;
- completed thematic tasks and assembled puzzles.
🎓 During the event, the C1 specialty “Economics and International Economic Relations” and the educational program “Economic Cybernetics” were also presented, which combines economics, mathematical modeling, data analysis, and modern information technologies for making effective business decisions.
We thank the participants for their active participation and keen interest! 🎉
