Interactive course session on seller and buyer behavior for 11th-grade students at Konotop Secondary School No. 11

📈 On May 1, 2026, Alina Yefimenko, assistant professor in the Department of Economic Cybernetics, conducted an interactive online session as part of an interactive course on modeling seller and buyer behavior for 11th-grade students at Konotop Secondary School No. 11 (Grades 1–12). About 15 students joined the session.

🧠 During the session, participants learned the basics of agent-based modeling, examined types of seller and buyer behavior, and analyzed real-world scenarios of interaction in the goods and services market. Special attention was given to brainstorming the concept of “agent-based modeling” and evaluating practical business cases.

🔍 Prospective students were also introduced to the educational programs of the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management at Sumy State University, specifically the “Economic Cybernetics” program under Specialization C1 “Economics and International Economic Relations,” which combines modern economic approaches, data analysis, mathematical modeling, and digital tools for managerial decision-making.

🚀 We thank the students for their enthusiasm and interest and invite young people to join our upcoming career guidance events!
