Internships: PortaOne Education Centre

PortaOne’s development department is once again opening its ‘virtual’ doors to those who want to take an internship! Starting today, we’re launching a new 25th anniversary season of the Become A Developer programme.

Today, we are launching a new 25th anniversary season of the Become A Developer programme. Applications are accepted until 1 July 2024. You can fill out the application form at bit.ly/BAD-2024 before this date, and fulfil the conditions of the first stage by 5 July inclusive to receive an invitation to an interview. After registration, you will receive an email with all the instructions.

The selection process includes four stages:

  1. Registration: the last day for submitting the application form is 1 July 2024.
  2. Online testing: logic, English, and technical knowledge tests, as well as completion of a test task – until 5 July.
  3. Basic technical interview: conducted by the Training Centre staff. Only those who have successfully passed the previous stage will be invited to the interview. Our staff allocates limited time for interviews with candidates every day, so don’t hesitate.
  4. In-depth technical interview: with a future mentor.

Programme terms:

✅ This is a three-month internship programme, following which successful graduates will receive an invitation to a developer position.

✅ It is held in the format of official part-time employment – you can combine it with your studies.

Suitable for senior students/graduates of specialised majors or those who already have programming experience.

The programme gives you the opportunity to thoroughly study modern approaches to software development and gain practical experience in real (or as close to real) projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.

✅ The internship takes place remotely, so be aware that you will have to spend at least 4 hours a day during working hours.

To summarise: application form (=registration by 1 July) –> details in the letter –> testing + test task (maximum by 5 July, but the earlier the better) –> interview with the Training Centre staff –> technical interview with a future mentor (Head of Development). The programme will start tentatively (!) on 15 July 2024, but possibly earlier as teams are formed.
