Robocode Center Class: From Arduino to Your Own Sumo Robot

🤖 On May 24, 2026, another class was held at the Robocode Center. The group is showing excellent results in mastering the C++ language within the Arduino ecosystem for creating embedded systems.

⚙️ During the training, participants not only wrote code but also went through the full cycle of electronic system design:

  • tools: they worked in the Arduino IDE and mastered environments for circuit simulation;
  • hardware design: they familiarized themselves with the EasyEDA program, which allows them to design their own printed circuit boards (PCBs);
  • programming: they reinforced their knowledge of OOP, functions, loops, and working with libraries;
  • electronics: they learned to integrate sensors and understand the principles of operation of basic electronic components.

🏁 The final stage will be an exciting MakerTime. The task for participants is not just to assemble a robot, but to develop the optimal algorithm for a sumo-wrestling machine. The robot must stay within the ring on its own and effectively push the “opponent” out. This is a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of algorithmics in practice and experience the thrill of competition, where not only speed but also the best engineering logic wins.

The Robocode Center continues to develop the technical potential of young people, preparing future specialists capable of creating smart devices and implementing complex engineering solutions. 🚀✨
