Session of the “Econometrics” Virtual Mobility Program: Multidimensional Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS) in Stata

📅 On June 1, 2026, a regular session was held as part of the international virtual mobility program “Econometrics,” which is the result of a partnership between Sumy State University and Mahatma Jotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU, Bareilly, India).

👩‍🏫 The main speaker at the event was Alina Yurievna Yefimenko, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Economic Cybernetics.

🔍 This time, the meeting was dedicated to the topic “Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS) using Stata software.” During the lecture, participants learned about the theoretical foundations of the MARS method, its advantages for modeling complex nonlinear relationships, as well as the specifics of applying this tool in the Stata software environment for analyzing economic data.

✨ Thank you to all participants for your active involvement, and we look forward to continuing to strengthen international scientific ties and deepen our knowledge of econometrics and data analysis!
