On March 26, 2024, a webinar on countering cryptojacking was held as part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet educational project “EU practices to protect the financial system from cyber threats”.
During the webinar, the main types of cryptojacking, trends in its development in the world, as well as methods of protection against illegal mining and detection of such attacks were discussed. Special attention was paid to the integration of the European Union’s best practices in protecting personal computers and mobile devices from cyber threats.
The participants received a certificate after the webinar.
The speaker was Viktoriia Bozhenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics.
The webinar was attended by bachelor’s and master’s students, postgraduate students, and research and teaching staff.
