From 1 to 5 December 2025, Alina Yefimenko, assistant professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics, provided a paid educational service for professional development under the programme ‘Data Modelling: Applied Tools for Researchers’ (1 ECTS, 30 hours).
The programme was attended by 67 participants, including:
- 49 teaching and research staff from Sumy State University,
- 18 representatives from other educational institutions.
The training was funded by individuals and focused on developing the modern analytical and econometric skills of researchers and teachers.
The programme consisted of the following topics:
- Methodology, tools and resources for data collection.
- Collection, cleaning and preparation of data for analytical and econometric research.
- Panel regression: methods of identification and parameter estimation using Stata.
- Multivariate adaptive regression splines (MARS).
