On August 4, 2026, Maryna Rozhkova, a graduate student in the Department of Economic Cybernetics, defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of “Economics” on the topic: “Cyber Risks in the Context of the Digitalization of the National Economy: Countermeasures.” The dissertation is devoted to researching the impact of cyber risks on the development of the national economy in the context of digitalization and to developing modern tools for assessing and countering them. The work proposes new approaches to analyzing the economic consequences of cyberattacks, assessing countries’ vulnerability to financial and cyber threats, and formulating a strategy for a resilient cyberspace as a component of ensuring the state’s economic and national security.
