Course “European Policies and Practices of Cybersecurity in the Financial System” Successfully Completed

In May, the elective course “European Policies and Practices of Cybersecurity in the Financial System” was successfully completed as part of the Jean Monnet Module “EU Practices on Protecting the Financial System Against Cyber Threats” (101085364 – EU_PITCH).

Over the course of three months – from March 3 to May 25, 2025 – third-year students of the “Banking,” “Finance,” and “Economic Cybernetics” degree programs explored key aspects of cybersecurity in the financial sector, including:

• fundamental concepts of EU cybersecurity,
• regulation of financial data confidentiality,
• cyber threats and risk management practices,
• responsible behavior of financial service users in cyberspace.

More than 20 students joined the course, demonstrating strong interest in the topic and active participation in both lectures and practical sessions. All students who successfully completed the course received certificates of completion.
