📅 On September 25, 2025, the Presidium of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine decided to appeal to the President of Ukraine with a proposal to award the President of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists.
🛡️ One of the distinguished works was “Creation of a Multi-Contour Intellectual Cybersecurity System”, developed by a team of authors from various higher education institutions.
👨🎓 Among the authors is Oleksandr Kushnerov, Doctor of Philosophy, and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economic Cybernetics.
💡 The goal of the work was to create a multi-component intellectual system that protects critical infrastructure and assesses its current level of defense.
💻 The authors developed a special program that classifies complex cyber threats (including those that use social engineering), and identifies vulnerabilities in the system.
📈 The novelty of the work lies in its ability to timely assess the level of an object’s protection, as well as the capabilities of both the attacker and the defender.
⚙️ This approach makes it possible to create multi-component intellectual systems that effectively counter hybrid threats, taking into account their ability to constantly change and adapt.
🚀 The implementation of this work will allow experts to use the proposed approach for the rapid and comprehensive creation of reliable information security systems for critical infrastructure facilities.
🇺🇦 This recognition emphasizes the importance of Ukrainian scholars’ contribution to the development of cybersecurity.
Sincere congratulations to Oleksandr on this outstanding achievement!
