From April 9 to 15, the “Week of Esports and Game Development” was held, organized by the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Sumy State University, which included 4 tournaments and a game jam

Esports tournament “CYBER SUMDU [Half-Life deathmatch]” – 9.04.

Winner: Timur Krasnov (KUSS School No. 1).

 

Game development competition “UEFN Game Jam: Deathmatch” – 9-13.04.

Winners: Yegor Hutsal (KUSSCH No. 9), Tymur Naumko (school No. 6), Dmytro Kravchenko (school No. 27).      

 

Cybersport tournament “CYBER SUMDU [Fortnite deathmatch]” – 14.04

Winner: Dmytro Borysenko (school №27).

 

Cybersport tournament “CYBER SUMDU [Counter-Strike 2 Wingman]” – 14.04.

1st place: Team “pyatnaha” (Timur Preobrazhensky (CU secondary school No. 15), Yegor Basanets, (CU secondary school No. 15))

2nd place: Team “NEVERAGE” (Dmytro Gorshkov (Sumy State Pedagogical University), Oleksandr Molodyka (KUSSCH No. 17)).

 

Cybersport tournament “CYBER SUMDU [Counter-Strike 2 limited test 5v5]” – 15.04. Tournament sponsor: gg.arena.sumy – a place where children immerse themselves in the world of virtual reality on their birthday!

2nd place: “Playful Innocent Vibe Only” (Artem Chygryn (Sumy State University), Dmytro Lahirenko (NSU), Andrii Voloshyn (SNAU), Volodymyr Voloshyn (Sumy State University), Vladyslav Gerenko (Sumy State University)).

 

A total of 124 participants (schoolchildren and students) took part in the esports and game development week. The competition was held online, and esports tournaments were held offline at the Sumy State University Congress Center.
