On April 27, 2023, a webinar on “Combating cryptojacking in EU countries” was held. The speaker was Victoria Bozhenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics
During the webinar, the participants learned about the main types of cryptojacking, trends in the development of cryptojacking in the world, how to protect against the threats of illegal mining, how to recognize an attack aimed at illegal mining.
The main emphasis was placed on the integration of best practices of the European Union in the field of protection of personal computers and mobile devices against threats.
The webinar was attended by bachelor’s and master’s students, PhD students, lectures.
The webinar was held as part of the implementation of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet educational project “EU Practices on the Protection of the Financial System from Cyber Threats” at Sumy State University.
