✨ On 10 November 2025, Alina Yurievna Yefimenko, assistant professor at the Department of Economic Cybernetics and deputy head of career guidance, held a meeting as part of the interactive course ‘Big Data Lab – Big Number Analytics’.
🧠 The event was attended by 16 students of the 11th grade of Konotop Lyceum No. 11 of the Konotop City Council of the Sumy Region. They had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of big data, learn about the principles of agent-based modelling, and try their hand at analysing real business cases.
👨💻 During the class, students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Big Data, learn about the principles of its analysis, and try their hand at solving real business cases. Participants learned how modern information technologies help economists work with data, make predictions, and make effective decisions.
💡 Special attention is paid to the presentation of educational programmes of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Business, Economics and Management, in particular, speciality C1 ‘Economics and International Economic Relations’ under the educational programme ‘Economic Cybernetics’. The programme opens up wide opportunities for studying modern economic models, mathematical methods of analysis and forecasting, which are key skills for future economists and business analysts.
