On 31 October, lecturers from the Department of Economic Cybernetics took part in the All-Ukrainian round table ‘Modern Trends in Economic Cybernetics: Data Science, Information Technology and Analytics’, organised on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The event brought together representatives of departments of economic cybernetics from many higher education institutions in Ukraine, creating an atmosphere of professional dialogue and academic unity. The ceremonial part was filled with warm congratulations to the jubilarian and gratitude for his contribution to the development of domestic economic cybernetics.
During the scientific part of the event, participants exchanged views on topical issues in the development of economic cybernetics, in particular:

🔹The application of modern data processing methods to solve economic problems
🔹The role of data science in shaping a new economic paradigm
🔹Challenges and prospects for training specialists in economic cybernetics
Certain issues sparked lively discussion among participants, demonstrating the relevance of the topics raised and the interest of the scientific community.
Participation in the round table contributed to strengthening scientific ties and exchange of experience in the field of economic cybernetics between leading higher education institutions of Ukraine.
