Launch of the Elective Course “European Policies and Practices for EnsuringCybersecurity in the Financial System”

As part of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Module “EU Practices for Protecting the Financial System from Cyber Threats” (101085364 – EU_PITCH), the elective course “European Policies and Practices for Ensuring Cybersecurity in the Financial System” has been launched.

Third-year students specializing in Finance, Banking, and Economic Cybernetics have joined the course.

The program aims to equip students with in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity and digital resilience in financial operations, which are crucial for ensuring the security of financial services in a globalized world. Special attention will be given to data protection, combating cyber threats, and familiarizing students with European cybersecurity practices.

The course is taught by PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics Viktoriia Bozhenko, and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship Olena Pakhnenko.
