On 04.04.2023, the participants of the Joint Virtual Mobility Program “Numerical optimization methods” had the opportunity to listen to a lecture by Dr. Ayben Koy (Istanbul Ticaret University (ITU), Turkiye).
Dr. Ayben Koy gave a lecture on “Cryptocurrencies and Tokens”, in which he spoke about current trends in the development of cryptocurrencies, opportunities and challenges caused by the emergence and spread of cryptocurrencies.
The students had the opportunity to consider the essence and features of blockchain technology, existing cryptocurrencies, the functioning of crypto exchanges and the challenges to macroeconomic regulation caused by cryptocurrencies.
