📅 On 2 October 2025, master’s students from the Department of Economic Cybernetics took part in a career guidance meeting with representatives of the Sumy Regional Employment Centre. The event was held as part of the ‘Digest of Opportunities for Youth’ information campaign and was aimed at 4th-year bachelor’s students and 1st- and 2nd-year master’s students.
👩💼 The speaker at the event was the head of the career guidance department of the Sumy Regional Employment Centre, Viktoria Prokopenko. She familiarised participants with the wide range of services that the employment service offers to young people and provided up-to-date information on the current state of the labour market.
📌 During the meeting, students learned:
🔹 what myths exist around employment and how to dispel them;
🔹 what services are available to young people through the employment service;
🔹 what the current labour market looks like in the Sumy region;
🔹 what government support programmes are available to students and graduates;
🔹 how to obtain a microgrant to start or develop your own business;
🔹 where you can get free training to improve your qualifications.
🎯 The meeting became a useful platform for discussing career prospects, as well as a source of practical information for those who are already planning their professional path.
