Young programmers at the Robocode Centre have completed the Ping Pong project and are preparing to study electronics

📅 On 4 October 2025, another class was held for participants at the Robocode Centre. This time, the children completed their own project, the Ping Pong game, and then enjoyed playing the game they had created 🏓.

During the last three classes, the participants managed to accomplish a lot:

🎮 they familiarised themselves with the MakeCode Arcade environment, its interface, sprites, and scene;

💡 learned how to create algorithms, configure sprites, and program character movements;

🕹️ created their first mini-game;

🐹 developed the Mole Whack project, where they practised working with sprites, events, scoring, and interaction between objects;

🏓 made a two-player game called ‘Ping Pong,’ familiarised themselves with variables, loops, conditions, coordinate systems, and messages between sprites;

🌟 learned 8 new terms in English, expanding their vocabulary.

Soon, even more exciting discoveries await young programmers: they will learn about the physics of 2D games and animation, and take their first steps in studying electronics using the SensoKit platform.

The Robocode Centre continues to open up the world of programming, creativity, and innovation to children 🚀
