📅 On 19 May, an online lecture was held for 10th grade students of Sumy Specialised School of I-III degrees No. 29 as part of the interactive course ‘Big Data Lab’. The event was held by the assistant of the Department of Economic Cybernetics – Alina Yuriivna Efimenko 👩🎓.
The event was attended by more than 20 students who had the opportunity to take their first steps into the world of big data analysis. The participants discovered the possibilities of Big Data analysis, modern approaches to its processing and application in the economy and business 📈.
During the lecture, students learned:
🔹 what Big Data is and how it is changing the modern world;
🔹 how to work with real data using Kaggle, Google Cloud, and DrivenData platforms;
🔹 how data analytics helps solve real business cases.
In addition, the Economic Cybernetics educational programme was presented to the students, in particular, the participants learned about: mathematical methods, programming and economics within the educational process, the practical orientation of the disciplines and career opportunities 📉📈.
