Online meeting with schoolchildren: agent-based modeling in action

📅 On February 17, 2025, an online meeting was held as part of an interactive agent-based modeling course organized by the Department of Economic Cybernetics. The event was attended by about 20 students of the 10th grade of the Sumy Specialized School No. 29.
👥 During the lesson, students learned how agent-based modeling works 📈, why it is important for analyzing consumer behavior in the market and how it can help predict economic changes. Participants considered different options for agent interaction 🤝 and tried to model different scenarios for the development of local markets.
In addition to the basics of modeling, the students were introduced to the Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics educational program, which opens up opportunities for studying modern economic models, analyzing big data, and forecasting market trends.
💡 We thank all the participants for their active cooperation! We hope that this meeting will be the first step towards a deeper dive into the world of economic cybernetics and business intelligence!
