Participation of students majoring in Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics in the online workshop “Working with Excel: 10 ways to save time and simplify your working day”

MS Excel is one of the most popular and versatile tools for business analytics. The main reasons for the popularity of MS Excel include ease of use, a wide range of tools and functions for processing, analysing and visualising data, ease of working with large amounts of data, a wide range of reporting options, integration with other software tools, etc.

All of this makes MS Excel an essential tool for business analysts, helping them to solve various data analysis tasks and make informed decisions based on the analysis.

In order to get acquainted with practical cases of using MS Excel tools in the work of a business analyst, 1st and 2nd year students of the Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics programme took part in the online workshop “Working with Excel: 10 ways to save time and simplify your working day”, which took place on 9 April 2024.

During the online workshop, the following issues were discussed:

✅ Excel capabilities for business: automation, types of analysis, visualisation
TOP-10 logical and mathematical functions that will help reduce the time for processing monthly receipts to the company

✅ Effective Excel tools to help you save time in your daily work tasks

✅ Tips on organising your Excel workspace for easy and efficient data management

The workshop was conducted by Anna Shepeleva, Head of Digital sales analytics at MEGOGO.
