From October 6 to 10, 2025, Oleksandr S. Kushnerov, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economic Cybernetics, successfully presented the results of his research at the prestigious international conference, the IEEE 6th KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek). The event brought together leading scientists and experts to discuss the latest achievements in the field of advanced technologies.
Oleksandr delivered a presentation on the topic “Hybrid Neural Model for Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Based on Lotka–Volterra Dynamics.” In his work, he proposed an approach to assessing cyber risks that combines deep neural networks for classifying network activity with the Lotka-Volterra dynamical model for simulating the interaction between threats and defensive mechanisms.
The research demonstrated the high efficiency of the proposed hybrid model in identifying anomalies, which opens up new opportunities for proactive assessment and management of cyber threats.
The IEEE KhPI Week conference is an authoritative scientific event that provides a platform for exchanging advanced ideas and research results. Participation in such events confirms the high level of scientific development conducted at the department and promotes its recognition at the international level.
We congratulate Oleksandr on his successful presentation and wish him further scientific accomplishments and new achievements!
