📅 On 18 October 2025, the
Department of Economic Cybernetics at Sumy State University opened its doors to
10th and 11th grade students from Sumy schools who took part in the quiz
‘Discover the world of economic cybernetics!’ Twenty-six high school students
joined the intellectual competition, not only to test their knowledge and
logic, but also to learn about current educational and career opportunities.
🎙 The speakers at the
meeting were students of the Economic Cybernetics educational programme, Kseniia Mohylna and Dmytro Lypovy, who shared
their own experiences of studying, participating in scientific projects,
international mobility and student life.
📚 The event was aimed at
introducing the specialities of the Educational and Scientific Institute of
Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University, in particular the
opportunities offered by the educational programme ‘Economic Cybernetics’.
During the event, participants learned about:
🔹 the specifics of
studying and entering the university;
🔹 career prospects for
graduates;
🔹 opportunities for
international mobility and research activities;
🔹 the role of big data
and mathematical methods in the modern economy.
🎲 The highlight of the
event was its interactive format. Participants competed in a themed quiz,
played ‘Elias’, solved IT logic puzzles from real IT company interviews, and
tried their hand at being business analysts by solving business cases.
