Students Participate in the Webinar “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: From Theory to Practice”

On March 14, students of the Department of Economic Cybernetics took part in the webinar “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: from Theory to Practice”. The event was attended by students of groups EK-21 and EK-21-3, and the main speaker of the event was Stepan Novikov, Senior Solution Architect at EPAM. During the webinar, students had the opportunity to learn more about various aspects of artificial intelligence and machine learning, from fundamental theories to practical applications. The participants of the event discussed the main ideas and basic theories of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), ML models and their architectures, computer vision technologies, the unique mechanism of self-attention, MLOps, and Continues Training. Students were able to gain this interesting experience as part of the Econometrics course under the guidance of teacher Tetiana Vitaliivna Dotsenko. The active participation of our students in such events reflects their desire to remain at the forefront of technological progress in the field of economic cybernetics.
