The Federation of Employers of Ukraine together with EU4Skills, GRC.UA during August-November 2022 conducted a survey of enterprises and businesses regarding the existing shortage of qualified personnel, current vacancies and problems, training needs and cooperation with educational institutions.

Soft skills remain relevant, namely: responsibility, result orientation, teamwork.

35% of companies noted that they will expand their staff after the end of hostilities.

The employment rate of graduates of Ukrainian higher education institutions is at the level of 59%

59% of employed students – this is exactly the figure announced by the Ministry of Education and Culture three weeks before the beginning of the February invasion.

8 out of 10 surveyed managers believe that the personal qualities of a job seeker are more important than hard skills: they help to adapt to a new place faster and contribute to the effective performance of work tasks.
