The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has announced a call for applications for vocational training and retraining courses in the field of information technology (IT) for residents of Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Residents of target communities, in particular Sumy, Okhtyrka, Konotop and Romen communities of Sumy region, are invited to participate.
📌 The main goal of the program is to promote economic integration and increase the competitiveness of participants in the local labor market. The courses will last from 2 to 4 months and will be conducted online. Participants will be able to choose one of the professional areas according to their interests:
🔸 QA for beginners – the basics of testing websites and applications
🔸 UI/UX design – creating interfaces using tools like Figma
🔸 Java Basics – basic designs and principles of programming
🔸 Python Basics – getting to know a simple programming language
🔸 Web development basics – creating websites using HTML, CSS, XML
🎯 The program is focused on supporting a wide range of people, including IDPs, veterans, youth, people with disabilities and other vulnerable categories.
📝 To participate, you must:
- live in one of the target communities;
- have a desire to obtain IT education and stay in the community for at least a year;
- be at least 16 years old;
- register via the online form by August 10, 2025.
Selected candidates will be interviewed and will be able to participate in career development activities.
