Webinar “Methods of forecasting a wide range of economic indicators – factors of corruption and shadow activity”

On October 8, 2024, a webinar on “Methods of forecasting a wide range of economic indicators – factors of corruption and shadow activity” was held, the speaker of which was Vitaliia Koibichuk, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Economic Cybernetics. The event was held within the framework of the training course “Anti-corruption policy and policy of countering the shadow economy of the EU” of the international grant – Jean Monnet module “Anti-corruption and countering shadow economy: step by step to common Europe”.

The webinar participants discussed the conceptual aspects of the shadow economy and learned about methods of forecasting corruption and shadow activities. The speaker focused on the possibilities of using the information from the Business and Consumer Survey (BCS) database. In addition, the webinar addressed the issue of developing a forecast for the business climate indicator.
