From 29 September to 6 October 2025, members of the working group on the educational programme ‘Esports and Computer Game Development’: Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics Valery Yatsenko and Senior Lecturer Alexander Kushneryov – took advanced training courses on ‘Accreditation of educational programmes: best practices and problematic issues’.
During the event, employees of the Department of Economic Cybernetics:
🔹 familiarised themselves with the National Qualifications Framework and the Higher Education Standard;
🔹 studied the logic of the interrelationships between educational and work programmes, as well as the programme of the academic discipline;
🔹 gained knowledge in the context of the role and place of internal and external stakeholders in shaping the quality of the educational environment;
🔹 acquired the ability to form self-assessment information on educational programmes and an evidence base in accordance with the criteria for assessing the quality of educational activities;
🔹 gained an understanding of the procedure for conducting accreditation expertise of educational programmes.
The members of the RPG are grateful for the valuable knowledge and practical advice they have received. The professional development courses have contributed to a deeper understanding of modern approaches to ensuring the quality of education, the formation of a unified vision for improving the educational process, and an increase in the level of internal quality assurance of the department’s educational activities.
