On November 12, as part of the study of the discipline “Applied Econometrics”, a meeting of students of the educational and professional program “Economic Cybernetics” (master’s degree) took place with the business analyst of the company MintyMin, a graduate of the Department of Economic Cybernetics – Yehor Pidoprihora.
How to start a career in the IT field, what difficulties may arise when looking for a job in the IT field, modern requirements for beginners and specialists in the IT field, the role and tasks of a business analyst in modern conditions – these and many other questions were addressed by Yehor’s attention during a meeting with students.
A separate block of the online meeting was devoted to the collection and analysis of statistical data in modern business conditions, tools for data analysis.
We hope that Yehor’s useful advice on finding a job and studying at a university will help students optimize the learning process and help them in their job search.
The meeting was attended by students of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd courses of the “Economic Cybernetics and Business Analytics” OPP and students of the 1st year of the OPP “E-Sports and Computer Game Development”. Such meetings are very useful for students, as they provide an opportunity to learn about the personal experience of former students of the Department of Economic Cybernetics, about the application of the acquired knowledge in practice.
The team of the Department of Economic Cybernetics is sincerely grateful to Yehor Pidoprihora for a relevant and meaningful meeting, for pleasant memories of the years of study and hopes for continued fruitful cooperation.
