On October 20, 2022, a training seminar on the topic “The process of creating a Telegram bot” was held for students of the educational programs “Economic cybernetics and business analytics” and “Cybersports and development of computer games”.
The meeting was conducted by the leading developer of the media holding “United Radio Group” and the assistant of the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Sumy State University Oleksandr Serhiyov Kushnerev. At the meeting, successive stages of bot development in the Telegram messenger were demonstrated.
Oleksandr began to acquaint the students with the possibilities of the Python programming language using the example of a code that makes a request to the Google search engine about the weather in any city, and then parses the received information and displays the result.
Students got acquainted with the process of registering a bot in the messenger and writing the code itself. The Department of Economic Cybernetics is sincerely grateful to Oleksandr Serhiyovych for a meaningful and interesting meeting!
