Senior Lecturer of Sumy State University presented an approach to monitoring network traffic at the international symposium ISMSIT2024

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economic Cybernetics of Sumy State University Oleksandr Kushnerov took part in the international symposium ISMSIT2024 (International Symposium on Multidisciplinary Studies and Innovative Technologies), which brings together scientists, experts, representatives of educational and private organizations to share knowledge in the field of innovative technologies and multidisciplinary research.

In his presentation on “Application of Neural Networks for Network Traffic Monitoring and Analysis”, Oleksandr presented an approach to monitoring and analyzing network traffic using neural networks, which is especially relevant in the context of growing cyber threats. The presentation focused on the key role of neural networks and machine learning in detecting complex patterns and anomalies in network traffic. The model developed using TensorFlow is based on an auto-encoder that allows for accurate identification of potential threats in real time.

The presentation emphasized the importance of applying innovative solutions in the field of cybersecurity, opening up new prospects for effective protection of network infrastructures.
