On November 16, 2022, a working meeting was held in an online format with the executors of the Jean Monnet project “EU Practices on the Protection of the Financial System from Cyber Threats”, which is being implemented at Sumy State University by the teachers of the Department of Economic Cybernetics and the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship.
The meeting is devoted to familiarizing the project executors with the plan of activities for 2022-2023. and the expected results of project implementation at this stage.
The main tasks at the first stage of project implementation were established:
- Development and teaching of the training course “European policies and practices of ensuring cyber security in the financial system”.
- Conducting a series of webinars aimed at raising awareness of European approaches to countering cyber fraud in the financial sector.
- Webinar “Combating cryptojacking in EU countries” (April 2023)
- Webinar “The experience of the EU on the integration of cyber risks in the ERM sector of financial services” (May 2023)
- Organization of the international Internet conference “Challenges of cyber security in the field of financial services” (June 2023)
- Publication of research results in professional domestic and foreign journals.
- Holding working meetings on a regular basis to discuss the current issues of the implementation of the Jean Monet project “EU Practices on the Protection of the Financial System from Cyber Threats” (EU_PITCH)
