On 9 April 2025, a webinar on ‘Network Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Assessment’ was held by Vitaliia Koibichuk, PhD, Associate Professor, Head of the Department.
🔍 The event was organised as part of the Jean Monnet module ‘EU Practices to Protect the Financial System from Cyber Threats’, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (101085364-EU_PITCH-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
Participants had the opportunity to:
✅ get acquainted with the current landscape of cyber threats in Ukraine and the world;
learn about the growing cost of cybercrime;
✅ review data protection regulations and liability for their violation;
✅ gain practical skills in using software solutions for vulnerability analysis.
💻 The speaker also presented:
✅ modern tools for identifying risks in networks;
✅ typical network threats and risk levels;
✅ cybersecurity recommendations for small and medium-sized enterprises.
