🗓 On 3 April 2025, students of the KS-21 and KS-31 groups had the opportunity to take part in a series of extremely informative online meetings with game development specialists. The events took place in the format of open lectures as part of the international gaming conference GAMES GATHERING 2025 LVIV 🎓🌍
During the event, participants not only listened to the speeches of experienced practitioners but also received answers to topical questions about analytics, design, and legal aspects in the field of game development 🤖.
💬 Lectures covered three key areas:
🔍 Research in mobile games: finding insights from idea to product
Participants learnt how data analytics helps game development teams make informed decisions – from basic indicators 📊 (number of users, average session) to a deeper analysis of player behaviour. Particular attention was paid to the role of product analysts who are looking for answers to the ‘why?’ ❓
🎨 Design principles in concept art and ecological use of AI
The basic principles of concept creation, stylisation, and accents in visual design are revealed 🖌️. In the second part of the lecture, the speaker shared an eco-friendly and efficient way to use artificial intelligence to accelerate creative processes ⚡.
⚖️ Artificial intelligence in games: regulation, risks, and copyright
The legal aspects of using AI in the gaming industry were considered – from intellectual property protection 📚 to international approaches to regulation and possible risks 🌍.
💡 This meeting was a great opportunity for students not only to gain new knowledge but also to better understand current trends in the gaming industry, as well as to establish contact with practitioners who work daily to create innovative products.
