On May 29, 2024, a webinar on “EU Experience in Communication and Cooperation” was held, with Kostiantyn Hrytsenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Cybernetics at Sumy State University, as the speaker. The event was held as part of the Jean Monnet module “Developing Digital Competences of Digital Economy Professionals and Business Leaders: Best European Practices for Ukraine” funded by the Erasmus+ program (101127435-EU_DIGIT-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
The webinar was attended by students, postgraduates and professors of Sumy State University. The participants of the webinar discussed the prospects and problems of virtual identity, as well as the issues of digital footprint, personal data protection, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). During the webinar, the speaker highlighted the issues of the eIDAS digital identification regulation and the European Digital Identity Wallet. The webinar participants delved into topical issues of e-government and e-democracy, government-government, government-business and government-citizen sectors. The speaker also focused on practical solutions for communication and cooperation, in particular, the evolution and services of e-government in Denmark, the program “E-Governance for Accountability and Participation” (EGAP) in Ukraine, and the platform of e-democracy tools in Ukraine (e-DEM). The participants received valuable recommendations on how to use the services Public Budget, School Public Budget (SB), Local Petitions, Public Consultations, Open City, Diia. Digital Community”, ‘Electronic diaries and journals for schools’.
